Musée d'Orsay

Brand Identity / 2025

A landmark, redrawn, and shot from the rails.

The project began on a train: motion blur sliding past the windows, light fragmenting through the glass. That instinct shaped the direction, and pointed to the Musée d'Orsay, once a railway station itself.

The M echoes the museum's architectural arch, simplified and structured. The O takes the shape of the iconic clock, transformed into a guiding star that anchors the wordmark. Two letters, two landmarks.

The art direction extends the train metaphor: all photographs were shot by hand from moving trains, their motion blur becoming a signature across the system. A bichromatic palette, deep navy for the glass-vaulted ceiling, warm gold for the stone, completes the system, declined across motion, signage, posters and social.
